JoDee is experienced in leading ed-tech literacy and arts-integration initiatives. She coaches teachers and supports administrators. The aim is to help them identify and implement their goals and objectives.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is capable of designing professional development and student learning experiences. These experiences are engaging and effective through using arts integration. As a young adult, she lived in the Netherlands. She co-led an urban mission and danced in an international theater group. She also choreographed for a youth performing arts team. She has traveled to 25 countries.
JoDee is a portrait and mixed media artist who enjoys a variety of artistic interests. She believes the arts help to develop self-awareness, self-management, and social awareness. Her expertise as an educator melds with her passion as an artist. She makes learning fun and art easy. She has a knack for inspiring and teaching people of all ages to create! Her book, Refrain from the Identical: Insight and Inspiration for Creative Eclectics, provides advice for those who thrive on a myriad of artistic expressions.
